Learn to Row Taster - August 2025
If you are new to the sport then we have a Learn to Row programme which starts with this ‘taster session’ to see if this is the sport for you. You would then progress on to the Learn to Row course proper, teaching you the basics of sculling (an oar in each hand) over a period of 6-8 weeks, culminating in full club membership at the current membership rate. The L2R course will teach you the basics of sculling (oar in each hand) and will consist of the following 4 sessions:
• Wednesday 15th April 17:30 - 20:00
• Thursday 16th April 17:30 - 20:00
• Sunday 19th April 11:00 - 13:00
• Tuesday 21st April 17:30 - 20:00

Feb '25 half term Junior Learn to Row Course
The L2R course will teach you the basics of sculling (oar in each hand).
• Date: Tuesday 18th AND Wednesday 19th Feb
• Time: 13:00 - 16:00
• Open to: Those aged 12 - 18 (at time course commences).
• After completing the 2 days in the half term, you will need to attend a further FOUR sessions to complete the course. These four sessions will run on consecutive Sunday mornings (10:30 - 12:45) 23rd Feb, 2nd Mar, 9th Mar & 16th Mar (subject to change)
